We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, with experience in bar and restaurant work would be beneficial. Duties

Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the establishment, ensuring smooth service and high standards of quality. Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer experiences. Engage in food preparation and cooking, maintaining high culinary standards and adhering to food safety regulations. Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure sufficient stock for food production. Help develop and run a full events calendar Train new employees in restaurant procedures, including serving techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence. Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership practices. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction with their dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas, ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking; knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Proven track record of team management, demonstrating leadership abilities that inspire staff performance. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Experience in kitchen operations or barista roles is an advantage.
