V330 Assistant Stock Controller
Location: Mansfield
Role Overview
The Assistant Stock Controller plays a key role in supporting the efficient operation of the Company's stores and inventory function. This position is responsible for the accurate receipt, control, and issuing of stock and plant equipment, ensuring stock records are maintained to a high standard and that the stores environment remains safe, organised, and compliant. The role requires a well-organised, detail-focused individual.
Key Responsibilities
Booking in goods accurately and efficiently
Managing returns and liaising with suppliers
Recording and issuing plant equipment
Processing and recording the Company's waste
Supporting the maintenance of appropriate stock levels
Assisting with stock counts and project audits
Picking and allocating stock
Maintaining accurate stock locations
Ensuring a clean and tidy work environment
Keeping the stores area free from health and safety hazards
Undertaking other duties as required from time to time
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a warehouse or stores environment
Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of modern inventory control processes
Strong numeracy skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to follow instructions accurately
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to analyse and understand data
Physically fit due to the demands of the role
Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage own workload
A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365 (SharePoint, Excel, Word)

12.71 per hour
