ABOUT THE ROLE: ASSISTANT MANAGER
As Assistant Manager, you'll lead our Aldgate location, ensuring operations run seamlessly while upholding the
Victus Soul standard
in every customer interaction.
This is a hands-on leadership role, where you'll balance
customer experience
,
staff management
,
sales performance
, and
studio operations
. You'll work closely with the general manager to drive the success of our first and flagship studio.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Experience Lead:
Be the first point of contact for escalated concerns, ensure all clients receive an exceptional experience. Readily review feedback from clients with a view to continually improve customer experience.
FOH Team Lead:
Oversee, guide, and motivate the FOH team; hold team members accountable for performance and customer service excellence.
Training & Development:
Assist with onboarding and ongoing training for all front-of-house staff.
Stock Management:
Assist with ordering stock, managing stock levels, ensuring perishables are within date and assisting with regular stock takes. Ensure all merchandise is replenished, priced and displayed correctly. Regularly review towel deliveries and ensure we are prepared for busier periods.
Sales & Business Growth:
Collaborate with management to boost studio performance, analyse trends, and grow client base.
Scheduling & Staffing:
Assist GM in managing staff schedules, ensuring appropriate shift coverage and helping to cover shifts when short-staffed.
Operations:
Ensure all daily checks are being completed and FOH are logging this correctly on Logit system. Ensure all equipment is regularly checked and report any damages to GM. Assist GM in ensuring H&S compliance is exceptional through daily studio walk-throughs and H&S checks/recording.
Private Booking management:
Support the General Manager with the coordination and administration of private sessions and group bookings, ensuring a smooth and efficient booking process and class experience.
Administrative support:
Ensure all emails are responded to promptly and professionally, escalating enquiries to senior management where appropriate.

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE
Proven experience in a supervisory/team lead or assistant manager role, ideally within fitness/wellness sectors.
Passionate about delivering an exceptional client service whilst creating a warm, welcoming and consistent brand experience for every guest.
Confidence in sales and KPI awareness; experience in upselling memberships, class packs and retail products.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Calm and composed under pressure with strong conflict resolution skills.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of personal and team accountability.
Enthusiastic about boutique fitness and knowledgeable about current fitness trends.
Positive energy, professionalism, and a team-first mindset.
Familiarity with Mariana Tek booking system (desirable)
