We're looking for a dynamic, ambitious, super organised and energetic Assistant to the Director to work closely, supporting two exciting brands, with a primary focus on
The Great Indian
, a growing, modern Indian gastropub in London.
This role is ideal for someone with strong event organisation experience, excellent communication skills, and a natural flair for marketing. You'll be part of a fast-paced, creative environment, supporting with everything from event planning, PR coordination, and marketing campaigns, to admin, reporting, and brand development. You will also provide support to a leading homeware company, contributing to product development and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day admin and organisational support to the Director
Lead and coordinate event planning and execution for
The Great Indian
, including in-house events, trade shows, hospitality events, and promotional activities
Confidently liaise with PR agencies, suppliers, and partners
Support with marketing campaigns, content creation, and brand development for
The Great Indian
Prepare reports, presentations, and marketing materials with attention to detail and design
Manage social media activity where needed, with confidence and creativity
Maintain excel reports, product data, pricing, and schedules for the homeware company
Manage critical paths for product development within the homeware business
Stay on top of trends in hospitality, events, marketing, and design
Act as a confident, reliable point of contact across both businesses
The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience in event organisation and coordination
Energetic, dynamic, confident, and not shy to take initiative
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Strong understanding of marketing, content creation, social media, and brand building
A keen eye for style, aesthetics, and hospitality trends
Comfortable liaising with PR agencies, suppliers, and media contacts
Expert with AI, Excel, PowerPoint, and marketing tools
Experience in hospitality, lifestyle, or design sectors preferred
A portfolio of marketing, PR, or event work is a bonus
