The Opportunity



Our Family team is looking for a motivated assistant to provide direct support to the department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to start their legal career within a supportive and forward-thinking team, with a clear pathway for progression.

You will work closely with experienced lawyers providing essential support with day-to-day casework and administration and as your skills develop, you'll have the opportunity to manage your own caseload independently.

You will have the opportunity to work directly with clients and gain experience in areas such as:

Initial enquiries and appointments Drafting court documents such as client statements and preliminary documents Assisting with court applications and preparation of court documents Liaising with clients and third-party professionals Conducting legal research and maintaining accurate case files

Candidate Requirements



We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate:

A well rounded and driven individual who has great client care attributes Excellent written and verbal communication skills A professional and empathetic manner when dealing with clients Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines A strong interest in Family Law work, with prior experience in a legal setting (preferred but not essential) A law degree or equivalent legal qualification (preferred but not essential) A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required
