Job Description
Charsley Harrison LLP is a well-established firm in the heart of Windsor, providing legal services to both commercial and private clients.
The firm is looking for a diligent, confident, driven and experienced solicitor to fill the role of Head of Family Law. You will work closely with the other Partners, helping to continue expanding the family team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the department and will manage a varied caseload to include divorce, separation agreements, domestic violence, financial disputes, nuptial agreements, children matters and care proceedings. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the supervision and training of the junior members of your team.
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and self-sufficient member committed to client care. You must be a member of Resolution.
Requirements:
You will be a Private Family Law Solicitor with at least 5+ Years PQE
Extensive experience in dealing with all aspects of private family law
Good technical knowledge
Case management experience
Risk management skills
Interest and ability in business development
Excellent interpersonal skills
Exemplary client care skills
Sound IT skills - experience of case management systems & Microsoft packages. Full training on document management and practice management systems will be provided
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Advocacy skills
Candidates must also have a keen interest in generating new business by building local networks and attending appropriate networking groups and events, some of which may be out of hours. There will be an opportunity to write articles and get involved in marketing the firm and the department.
