Summary

As an Assistant Manager at Lynwood & Co, you will play a vital role in ensuring our cafe operates smoothly while delivering exceptional service to our customers. Located in the heart of the community, you will help maintain our reputation as a welcoming space that values generosity and quality.

Responsibilities

Assist the Manager in daily operations of the cafe, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness. Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to foster a positive work environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food preparation. Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Support team management by training new employees and conducting performance evaluations. Engage with customers to enhance their experience and address any concerns promptly. Contribute to community initiatives and events that align with our values.

Requirements

Proven experience in a restaurant or cafe environment, preferably in a supervisory role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and staff alike. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
