Job Description



The role of Commercial Business Operations Associate Director supports the Director of Commercial Excellence in leading, coordinating, designing and delivering the commercial excellence activities that enhance customer engagement and facilitate data driven decision making for International Commercial. This role will act as an internal subject matter expert of field force excellence & operations and work closely with market access, sales and marketing directors providing pro-active strategic and operational support.
This role will be the lead contact for one of our inline BUs and will be primarily responsible for delivering against all activities associated to core account management and operational business processes through CRM and field analytics tools.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Key contact for a Business Disease Area in the area of Commercial Excellence
  • Subject matter expert for the design and implementation of field teams effectiveness metrics/KPIs and dashboards in collaboration with business and cross functional teams
  • Leads the design and execution of field team sizing and territory distribution.
  • Drives the adoption of commercial field capabilities development across international including (Tiering, Targeting, account planning)
  • Partner with country teams (Country Managers, Sales Leaders and Field teams) to capture business needs to develop solutions across International
  • Maintains effective execution communication to ensure alignment works with other Commercial Business operations managers
  • Responsible for implementing Customer Account Management strategic core processes through CRM
  • Leads all end-to-end processes within CRM
  • Responsible for prioritizing CRM improvements based on business priorities and user (Field team) feedback
  • Responsible for developing user stories, acceptance criteria and ordering of product backlog
  • Sitting member of the CRM development team, responsible for sprint planning and sprint review discussions.
  • Proactively identifies new improvements to platforms, leveraging CRM subject matter expertise
  • Aligns business priority decisions with IT, cross-functional teams across
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, advertising or related discipline with relevant related experience is essential
SKILLS & EXPEREINCE:
  • Strong analytical mind-set: demonstrated analytical approach to understand the impact of the way data and reporting is interpreted and utilized for decision making.
  • Ability to communicate and influence across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to anticipate opportunities and challenges and thus proactively supporting shaping strategy of the region while having a strong execution mindset
  • Change Agent ability to drive and shape change management initiatives
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment; focus on multi-tasking and self-prioritized workload.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - fluent in verbal and written English.
  • Able to develop rapport and credibility with key stakeholders including senior leadership in International and comfortable leading without authority across functions and geographies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage complex projects that require collaboration across functional and geographic areas.
  • Advanced excel skills

  • Marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Strategic mindset with strong focus on execution
  • Scientific aptitude and working knowledge of specialty or rare disease therapies area (preferable)
  • Good familiarity with Patient support processes
Travel
  • Position is based in London Paddington. Occasional travel to countries required.
