Duties

Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations within the kitchen and dining areas. Supervise and train staff in food preparation techniques and culinary practices. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in all food production areas. Help manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Foster a positive team environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff members. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Support the development of new menu items and assist with food presentation standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food production processes, and culinary techniques. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
