Responsible to: Academy Business Manager and Office Manager
The Directors of Exceed Learning Partnership and Governors of Hill Top Academy are looking to appoint a Attendance and Administration Assistant. This is a vital role at the heart of our Academy, ensuring the smooth running of our daily operations.
Hill Top Academy is part of Exceed Learning Partnership, a Multi Academy Trust that currently comprises of 9 Academies, Bentley High Street Primary School, Carr Lodge Academy, Edlington Victoria Academy, Hall Cross Academy, Hill Top Academy, Rosedale Primary School, Sandringham Primary School, Sheep Dip Lane Academy, and Willow Primary School.
What We're Looking For in our ideal candidate:
Experience in an administrative or office-based role, preferably within a school setting.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organisational abilities
with great attention to detail
Proficiency in using IT systems
, including school management software (e.g., ARBOUR or SIMS) and experience in using Google and Microsoft Office
A positive and friendly attitude
with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Commitment to safeguarding
and promoting the welfare of children
The role will include
Managing attendance
for all pupils, including recording absences, following up with parents, and maintaining accurate records.
Providing administrative support
to the senior leadership team and other staff members.
Acting as the first point of contact
for visitors, parents, and pupils, providing a welcoming and professional service.
Handling general office tasks
such as data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.
