is seeking a reliable, professional, and physically capable

Porter

to join our established auction house team in Cardiff. This is a full-time, hands-on role ideal for someone who is organised, practical, and enjoys varied work in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately complete Customer Receipt forms and label incoming items. File paperwork and manage goods using customer reference numbers. Organise stock in the correct locations and check against receipt forms. Set up auction lots, move and display furniture attractively. Perform regular stock checks to ensure everything is accounted for. Assist customers with loading/unloading their items, including furniture. Occasionally collect individual items or furniture for upcoming auctions. Complete haulage jobs as assigned in a timely and professional manner. Carry out any other reasonable duties in support of the auction process.

Requirements

Good level of physical fitness (regular furniture moving required). Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Friendly, professional approach to customer service. Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Full, clean UK driving licence (required).

Willingness to undergo a Full DBS check (required).
