The Role


We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated

Audio Visual / IT Support Engineer

to join our growing team in Cambridge. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong AV installation experience and a solid IT background, particularly with Microsoft technologies.

The successful candidate will be involved in the setup, installation, and support of AV and IT systems, with a key focus on

Microsoft Teams Rooms

. The role will include the opportunity to travel internationally as part of larger client deployments.

Key Responsibilities:



Physical Installation, configuration, and support of AV systems, particularly Microsoft Teams Room solutions Troubleshooting and resolving hardware/software issues Set up and integrate Logitech systems, Biamp Tesira DSPs, and Crestron control systems in complex AV environments Supporting customers both remotely and on-site Working collaboratively with project teams to deliver high-quality installations Preparing and maintaining documentation for installations and support processes Frequent UK and international travel to support large-scale deployments

Essential Skills & Experience:



Proven experience in AV installations and IT support Solid understanding of Microsoft technologies (e.g. Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Teams) Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) - setup, configuration, and troubleshooting Strong understanding and hands on experience with Logitech, Biamp and Crestron control systems Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage time effectively and work independently or as part of a team Willingness to travel internationally as needed Full UK driving licence

Desirable:



Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Cisco, Crestron, Biamp CTS) Experience with networking (TCP/IP) and cabling infrastructure Experience of Visio or other drawing packages to document designs Experience working in a customer-facing role Willingness and ability to travel internationally for project delivery
