Mercian Events is a leading live events and production company, delivering outstanding technical support for conferences, exhibitions, awards nights, product launches, and corporate events across the UK. We are now looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Audio Visual Technician to join our growing team.

The Role

As an Audio Visual Technician, you will play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality technical solutions for our clients. You'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and de-rigging audio, video, and lighting equipment at live events, ensuring a seamless and professional experience every time.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV, lighting, and staging equipment. Throughout the UK. Provide on-site technical support throughout events. Work as part of a team to deliver productions to the highest standards. Maintain and prepare equipment in the warehouse between events. Deliver excellent customer service, representing Mercian Events in a professional manner.

About You

Previous experience in an AV/live events role. Strong knowledge of audio, video, and/or lighting systems. Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines. Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. Full UK driving licence is essential.

Pay: 24,000.00-27,500.00 per year
