Job Description

Butler Harwell, headquartered in Ashford, Kent, was founded in 2018 and specialises in the design, installation and ongoing maintenance of high-end smart-home and audio-visual systems. The Company has experienced exponential growth since its incorporation in 2018, now boasting team members across two office locations (Essex and Kent); the Company also benefits from the smart show home it shares in partnership with renowned German housebuilder Huf Haus, at Brooklands in Weybridge, Surrey.

We are seeking an Audio-Visual Junior to join our team, based near Braintree, Essex. The ideal candidate will work alongside their Senior Engineer to roll-out integrated, user-friendly smart home solutions that transform how people interact with their living spaces.

The Role:



The ideal candidate will be assisting with, but not limited to:

First-Fix On-Site Cabling Home Cinemas & Media / Games Rooms Building Management Systems & KNX Home Automation & Integration Whole-Home Audio & Video Distribution Wired & Wireless Data Networking Lighting Control Systems Access Control Intruder Alarms CCTV
You will be required to:

maintain accurate worksheets and records/documentation associated with your work ensure compliance to agreed codes, legislation, and procedures including health and safety meet your targets and contribute to those of the team as a whole adhere to all organisation policies and procedures, including those relating to hygiene, respect for other team members, time keeping and flexibility the role is part of the whole organisation team and as such requires you to perform such reasonable tasks that are required, as and when are necessary, to maintain, promote, develop and expand the business its interests generally.

Package



Base salary - from 25,000 per annum Discretionary 5% annual bonus (paid quarterly), based on meeting agreed targets / KPIs. Company pension
The role includes 20 days paid holiday plus eight days bank holidays per year. Additionally, any working days between Christmas and New Year will be paid, despite our office being closed during this time.

This is an immediate start, full-time field-based role, with an expectation that applicants shall ideally live close to Braintree, Essex, have a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel locally to meet their Senior Engineer.
