Due to continuous investment and growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Automation and Laser operator within our laser department We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating laser cutting equipment. The role involves being in charge of automated laser cutting cells, which in have both robotics and full visons measurement systems. With the opportunity to progress with this dynamic business.

Responsibilities

Operate laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components from precision steel strip Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure parts meet the required standards Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance. Use Measurement tools to validate dimensional accuracy Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet company standards. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Training new members of staff Ensuring H&S Standards are maintained

Skills

Proficiency in handling steel strip Proven Laser Experience Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Ability to working individually and as part of a team Familiarity with tooling processes and techniques relevant to laser operation. Flexible to changing needs of the business Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
