Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and other finishes to various surfaces. This is a full-time position.
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming
- Mix and match paint colours to achieve desired results
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- Ensure proper coverage and smooth finish
- Repair any imperfections or damages on surfaces before painting
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with paints and chemicals
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Painter or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in painting
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintenance of painting equipment is a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
