Role Overview

As an Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 Emissions, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and reliable vibration and durability testing. You will be responsible for liaising with clients, overseeing vehicle preparation and equipment installation, conducting tests using state-of-the-art facilities, and formulating comprehensive test reports. Collaborating closely with technicians and other engineers, you will contribute to exceeding client expectations and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaising with clients and updating them on test progress.
  • Planning, running and documenting tests.
  • Working with other engineers and technicians to coordinate tests and lab availability.
  • Creating risk assessments
  • Programming test equipment, e.g. shakers and chambers.
  • Using CAD to design test rigs.
  • Report, review and confirm test results.
  • Analysis results to produce statements of conformity and offer interpretation fo test results.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience in an automotive or electrical discipline.
  • Carrying out basic workshop fitting tasks.
  • Good written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Good problem solving and data analysis skills.
