Day-to-day tasks will include, but are not limited to:
Carrying out a variety of design & project-based responsibilities including - Preparation of Design documentation, creating rack elevations, lighting panel layouts, floor plans, wiring diagrams and schematics
The ability to review equipment and the space requirements within projects
Collation of Technical documentation including, Cinema room diagrams and layouts
Attending online and in-person meetings with project teams as required
Responding to queries and updates from external sources
Confirming hardware specifications, finishes and other details to the accounts and procurement teams to enable smooth and accurate hardware ordering
Continually researching
KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Production of drawings in AutoCAD
Ideally you will have a good understanding of the residential smart home industry
Experience with Microsoft, AutoCAD, Sketchup, CAD Licence Services
The ability to deliver under pressure with minimum supervision
To communicate effectively with people at all levels
Work well in a team, with strong self-motivation when working alone
Good written and verbal communication skills with an excellent eye for detail
A positive and enthusiastic approach to delivering the role
