Position:

3D/2D Designer - CAD / CNC Programmer

We are seeking a skilled

CAD / CNC Programmer

to join our busy bespoke production team in Halesowen, Birmingham. This is a hands-on role working closely with experienced operators and craftsmen in a fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop 3D models from briefs or technical drawings Produce accurate 2D working and component drawings Generate nesting and cutting files for CNC machinery Calculate material requirements for projects Maintain a catalogue of frequently used components Assist with machine operation and maintenance as required Collaborate effectively with design, technical, and production teams Perform other duties as necessary

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience in CAD programming Proficiency in SketchUp or equivalent 3D design software Strong verbal and written English communication skills Experience in carpentry, joinery, or furniture-making

Desirable Skills:

Experience with CNC machinery, preferably Homag Familiarity with WoodWop software Previous work in exhibitions, events, or bespoke installations

Working Hours and Benefits:

Standard hours: 07:30 - 17:00, with some flexibility (40 hr week) Regular overtime during busy periods Join a skilled, collaborative production team Location: Halesowen, Birmingham
