As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be the first point of contact between our company and potential customers. Your primary responsibility is to generate qualified leads and set up high-quality meetings for the sales team. You'll also support the sales process by contributing to proposal writing and follow-up, helping to drive deals forward and ensure a seamless handoff to Account Directors.
Responsibilities
Research and identify potential clients through outbound prospecting UK & US (calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.)
Qualify inbound leads and assess their fit based on ideal customer profiles
Book discovery meetings for Account Directors
Draft and support the creation of tailored proposals and pitch materials
Follow up on sent proposals to ensure timely responses and maintain momentum
Maintain accurate records of outreach and lead status in the CRM
Work with marketing to align messaging and campaign follow-up
Stay up to date on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive landscape
Contribute to team goals and share best practices in weekly meetings
Skills
Exceptional communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of software applications relevant to the industry.
Previous experience in sales or telemarketing is an advantage.
Ability to build rapport with clients and work effectively within a team environment.
Proficient in using CRM systems, particularly HubSpot, for managing customer relationships.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for growth.
