Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Baby Room Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role involves providing high-quality care and education to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities



Create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for babies and toddlers. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the highest standards of care are met. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the baby room, adhering to health and safety regulations. Support the emotional and social development of babies and toddlers through positive interactions.

Skills



Be able to model good practice & show leadership skills to guide and mentor junior staff members effectively and support their professional development. Proven experience with children in a childcare or nursery setting and an appropriate childcare qualification is essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing attitude towards childcare, demonstrating patience and understanding of children's needs. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a calm demeanour in a busy environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 41.25 per week
