We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Baby Room Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to infants and toddlers in a nurturing environment. You will play a vital role in supporting their development, ensuring their safety, and fostering a positive atmosphere for both children and parents. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and a genuine love for working with young children.
Duties
Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment for babies.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development.
Manage daily routines including feeding, nappy changing, and nap times.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Observe and assess children's development, keeping accurate records of their achievements.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
Drive initiatives that support the emotional and social development of each child.
Provide leadership within the baby room, guiding less experienced staff when necessary.
Qualifications
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills in English,
A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their needs.
Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care provided.
