We're looking for a full-time Baby Room Practitioner to bring warmth, creativity, and care to our youngest explorers. With our unique forest school setting for our over 3's, every day is an adventure - indoors and out!

Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Baby Room Practitioner to join our nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with under two's, demonstrating the ability to support the development of infants and young children. This role requires effective communication skills and a drive to create a safe and stimulating atmosphere for children.

Duties



Provide high-quality care for babies in the nursery, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of infants. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Work collaboratively with other practitioners to maintain a harmonious environment within the nursery. Manage daily routines, including feeding, changing, and nap times, ensuring each child's individual needs are met. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the baby room, adhering to health and safety regulations. Observe and assess children's development, keeping accurate records to inform future planning.

Requirements



Experience of working with children under two is desirable. Experience of working in a nursery setting is desirable. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm demeanour. Relevant qualifications in childcare or early years education are desirable but not mandatory. A proactive approach with a drive to continuously improve practices within the nursery setting.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
