We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Baby Room Practitioner to join our team. This role is essential in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for babies from 4months - toddlers, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with young children. As a Baby Room Practitioner, you will play a key role in fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for babies.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their developmental milestones.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's needs and progress.
Collaborate with colleagues to manage the daily operations of the nursery.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as safeguarding policies.
Support children in developing essential skills through play-based learning.
Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
Previous experience working with infants or young children in a nursery setting is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care provided within the nursery.
Knowledge of child development theories and practices is an advantage.
