Job Overview

We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare and support to families. The ideal candidate will be passionate about child development, reliable, and able to create a safe, engaging environment for children of various ages. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, supporting families with their childcare needs on a flexible basis. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of French is a desirable bonus. The position involves driving children when necessary and fostering educational activities to promote their growth.

Duties

Supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development Preparing meals and snacks suitable for children's dietary requirements Assisting with homework and educational activities, including teaching basic skills or languages such as French Ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times Organising playdates, outings, or trips to parks, museums, or other recreational venues Maintaining a clean and organised environment in the child's living area Providing transportation for children to school, appointments, or extracurricular activities when required Communicating regularly with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns

Experience

Prior experience in nannying or babysitting roles is highly desirable Demonstrated ability in childcare, including caring for infants, toddlers, or school-aged children Skills in teaching or tutoring children in basic subjects or languages such as French are advantageous Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is preferred for transporting children safely Good command of English; proficiency in French is considered an asset Ability to organise activities that stimulate learning while ensuring safety and enjoyment
