Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and food production, with the ability to support our bakery operations by assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality baked goods. Duties

Assist in the preparation of various baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality in all products. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Support the head baker in daily operations, including inventory management and stock replenishment. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper usage and maintenance. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Assist with customer service as needed, providing information about products and handling inquiries.

Experience

Previous experience in food production or preparation is preferred. Culinary or baking experience is an advantage but not essential. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is highly desirable. Experience working in a restaurant or bakery environment will be beneficial. A strong willingness to learn and develop new skills within the culinary field is essential.
