As a Bakery Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that our products are prepared and presented to perfection.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and production of baked goods, including cupcakes, cookies and cakes. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Various tasks such as mixing ingredients and decorating finished products. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods. Participate in training sessions to enhance baking skills and knowledge of culinary techniques.

Skills

Previous experience in food production or preparation is highly desirable. Strong culinary skills with a focus on baking techniques. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices. Experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work setting.
