St Mary's Hospital on the Isles of Scilly is currently looking for friendly, adaptable and committed Healthcare Assistants to work with the Inpatient and Community Nursing Teams.



St Mary's Hospital has a number of inpatient beds, an Outpatient Department, Community nursing team and a Minor Injury Unit providing 24-hour nurse led care with 24-hour medical expertise provided by resident GP's



As a Bank Healthcare Assistant (HCA), you will provide high-quality care, helping adult patients recover from illness or surgery. You will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals

To assist in the delivery of clinical care, planned and assessed by the Registered Nurses.

To carry out care/other duties under indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Senior Health Care Assistant.

Support care on a day-to-day basis for all patients in the clinical area in a manner sensitive to the individual client's needs and wishes, acknowledging their rights and beliefs at all times.

Contribute to resource management within the clinical area.
