Bank/Relief Minibus Drivers

Longridge Towers School is seeking to recruit friendly, flexible and conscientious drivers to assist our existing team; working as and when required, to provide cover for holidays, sickness and other absences, as well as assist with day trips, airport runs, sporting fixtures, etc.

Our drivers work a variety of part-time hours, usually between the hours of 7am and

8pm, Monday to Friday, however school events do occasionally take place at the

weekends. The School has a fleet of 17 seater minibuses which are used to transport our pupils to/from school as well as to extra-curricular activities. Applicants should have a D1 entitlement on their driving licence and be prepared to be MIDAS trained.

Experience of working with children is also preferable.

Previous similar experience is preferred, but full training will be given and a uniform is

provided.

Skills/Experience

Patient, pleasant, caring and professional manner; Ability to relate well with children of all ages; Flexible, reliable and trustworthy. Experience of driving; Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as with minimum supervision; Experience of working with children would be advantageous; Experience of basic vehicle maintenance is desirable
