About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on

Bar & Restaurant Manager

to lead our small team at our welcoming and characterful venue. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and has a proven track record of managing both bar and restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day running of the bar and restaurant, ensuring a warm, welcoming experience for all guests Manage and motivate a small front-of-house team, including rota planning and staff development Take responsibility for bar operations, including stock ordering, deliveries, cellar management, and line cleaning Ensure consistent high standards of service and cleanliness across all areas Handle financial reporting, including staff wages, till reconciliations, and cost controls Liaise with the kitchen and wider management team to ensure smooth service and coordination Uphold health & safety, hygiene, and licensing compliance at all times

Ideal Candidate

Proven experience in a similar hands-on managerial role within a bar and/or restaurant Natural leader with strong people management and customer service skills Knowledge of cellar management and drinks service standards Organised and financially literate, with experience in basic reporting and cost control Enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality Flexible and calm under pressure
