Job Description

As Bar Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll be responsible for leading the bar team, managing stock and ordering, maintaining high service standards, and contributing to the overall guest experience. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with a passion for hospitality, a strong understanding of bar operations, and a talent for team development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, train, and motivate the bar team to deliver outstanding service and high-quality drinks. Manage rotas, scheduling, and staffing levels in line with business needs and budgets. Oversee stock control, ordering, and inventory management to ensure cost efficiency and availability. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations. Handle customer interactions, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and care. Collaborate with the Operations Team to plan promotions, events, and seasonal menus. Ensure proper cash handling, till reconciliation, and reporting at end-of-day. Foster a positive and productive team environment where staff feel supported and engaged.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a bar or hospitality setting. Strong leadership and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and general bar service. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
