We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. The Bar Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards in service, quality, and cleanliness while fostering a positive work environment.

Duties

Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to health and safety regulations. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and controlling costs. Train and mentor staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving practices. Develop creative drink menus and food pairings that enhance guest experiences. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain cleanliness throughout the bar area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and service during busy periods. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction. Implement team management strategies to motivate staff and enhance performance.

Experience

Proven experience in a bar or restaurant environment is essential. Previous supervisory or leadership experience is highly desirable. Culinary experience with a strong understanding of food preparation and production techniques. Familiarity with hospitality best practices, including serving standards and customer service excellence. Experience in managing inventory and understanding cost control measures is an asset. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is required. Barista experience would be advantageous but not mandatory.
