Job Description

We are looking for an enthuastic and vibrant person to run the bar at our award winning gastro pub. You will be the face of the pub, welcoming our guests and ensuring that their visit gets off to the right start. You should be into, wines and beers, and determined to make sure our guests have a great time.

Duties:

- Oversee the daily operations of the bar and ensure smooth functioning
- Manage and lead a team of bartenders and bar staff
- Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for the bar
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Train new staff members on bar operations, customer service, and product knowledge
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues that may arise
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service
- Develop and update drink menus based on customer preferences and trends

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role in a restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of culinary techniques, food production, and food preparation
- Proficient in bartending techniques, including mixing cocktails and pouring drinks
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Pay: 28,500.00-31,500.00 per year
