Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a solid background in food and beverage management. As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Duties

Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards. Lead and manage the bar team, providing training and support to enhance their skills in serving and hospitality. Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels effectively. Develop creative drink menus and collaborate with the culinary team to pair beverages with food offerings. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety protocols. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction. Monitor staff performance and conduct regular evaluations to foster a positive work environment.

Experience

Proven experience in a bar management role or similar position within the hospitality industry. Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills. Background in restaurant or hotel environments is highly desirable. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is an advantage. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential. Experience as a barista or in beverage service is beneficial. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
