We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and leadership, ensuring that our bar delivers exceptional service and maintains high standards of quality. This role requires a blend of order management, stock rotation, supervisory experience, and a passion for creating a great atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth service and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Supervise and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and excellence.
Cashing up at the end of the shift
Maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while managing costs effectively.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar.
Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
Shifts will include Friday and Saturday evenings as well as some weekday days/evenings when required
Skills
Proven experience in a supervisory/management role within a bar setting.
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance.
Previous experience in hospitality, particularly in a bar setting is essential
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers.
A passion for delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21-20.00 per hour
