We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and a passion for delivering exceptional service. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing the bar team, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your leadership skills will be essential in fostering a positive work environment and driving team performance. Minimum 3 years experience , personal licence holder and minimum 3 years cellar management experience . Excellent rates of pay for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to health and safety regulations. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock control. Train and mentor bar staff on food preparation, serving techniques, and customer service excellence. Develop creative drink menus and ensure the quality of beverages served. Implement food safety protocols to guarantee compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and service during peak hours. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring it meets hygiene standards. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Monitor team performance, providing feedback and conducting regular evaluations.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Previous experience in barista roles or working within hotel environments is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.
