Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing staff, and ensuring that all beverages are prepared to the highest standards.

Duties

Supervise and manage bar staff, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company policies. Oversee the preparation and presentation of drinks, ensuring quality and consistency in every beverage served. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during food preparation and production times. Maintain inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary to avoid shortages. Train new staff members in bar operations, including drink recipes, customer service techniques, and health & safety regulations. Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or complaints promptly to enhance the guest experience. Develop and implement promotional strategies to increase bar sales and attract new customers. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation and production processes, particularly in relation to beverage service. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer interaction. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with bar equipment and maintenance procedures is advantageous. A passion for creating a vibrant atmosphere that encourages repeat business.
