Bar Manager

, where you'll play a key role in managing day-to-day operations and ensuring excellent service for our members.

About the Role:

Customer service and member satisfaction is at the core of what we do and the ideal candidate will take pride ensuring we deliver, understanding and exceeding our member expectations and have the leadership skills to influence and inspire the team around you.

Key Responsibility:

Manage the day to day running of the club

Managing bar staff, producing rotas and ensure appropriate cover

Cellar management; ensuring safe, clean and efficiently maintained

Maintain a constant stock of bar products working alongside local suppliers and breweries

Assist in stock control, budgeting and financial planning to optimize profitability

Managing function room bookings and organising events/bands/discos etc

Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the Club

Ensure compliance with health and safety, licensing laws and other applicable regulations

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality management is essential

Cellar management experience would be preferable

Be physically fit with the ability to handle light maintenance tasks and manage health and safety responsibilities

Flexible in your working hours to support the needs of the Club; working evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required

Familiar with EPOS and Microsoft applications

Contract:

Permanent, 40 hours per week (negotiable)

Pay:

30,160 annually (based on 40 hours per week)
