We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure an exceptional experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, with a focus on leadership, customer service, and operational efficiency. As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Train, supervise, and develop bar staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
Implement effective cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records.
Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate food preparation and service.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the bar area.
Develop and execute promotional events to enhance customer engagement.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
Skills
Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Experience with POS systems
Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions.
Background in quick service & fast food restaurant environments is beneficial.
Fine dining experience preferred, along with casual dining or banquet experience.
Proven track record in staff training, management, and team leadership.
Knowledge of food service management practices including budgeting and inventory control.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management.
Ability to manage shifts effectively while supervising kitchen operations.
Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food handling procedures.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
