We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar and Restaurant Supervisor to lead our front of house team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a passion for culinary arts and a keen understanding of food preparation and production. As the Bar and Restaurant Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain high standards of service in a vibrant restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the front of house team, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company standards.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring quality and consistency.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative drink pairings that complement menu offerings.
Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste.
Train and mentor staff in bartending techniques, customer service skills, and health and safety regulations.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health regulations within the bar area.
Skills
Proven experience in a bar/restaurant management or supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer engagement.
Knowledge of culinary practices related to food preparation and production is highly desirable.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional service experiences.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and point-of-sale software is advantageous.
