Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions regarding the menu. Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible service of alcohol and adherence to licensing laws. Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills when processing payments. Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices at all times. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bar, restaurant or events environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for bartending and hospitality is key. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively. A genuine passion for hospitality and providing outstanding customer service. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
