Key responsibilities in this role:
Customer Service:
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Take orders accurately and provide menu recommendations when needed.
Serve beverages promptly and ensure guest satisfaction.
Address customer enquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner.
Food and Beverage Knowledge:
Have knowledge and understanding of the menu, including ingredients/ allergens.
Make suggestions and upsell items to enhance the guest experience.
Teamwork:
Collaborate with colleagues to provide seamless service and complete other tasks as required.
Communicate effectively with staff and management.
Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
Follow alcohol service policies and check identification when serving alcohol.
Cash Handling:
Handle cash and payments accurately, including processing credit card transactions.
Maintain a balanced cash register and provide change as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a food and beverage service role preferred but not required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer-oriented attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
