Our pub is a bustling environment, and we're looking for a dedicated bartender who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys a variety of tasks throughout the day.

The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled bartender to join our busy team. This is a dynamic role where you'll not only be behind the bar but also assisting with hotel guest needs, helping maintain the cleanliness of the pub and hotel, and collaborating with other staff across various roles. The pub operates from 8am to midnight, so you'll be required to work throughout the day, from morning coffee service to late-night drink service.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced bartender with strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to multi-task. You'll be trained across all roles in the pub and hotel, giving you the flexibility to support other team members as needed. You'll need to be comfortable using technology for ordering and compliance checks, as well as assisting with hotel guest requests.

Serve coffee and light refreshments in the morning, ensuring the early-opening service runs smoothly for both pub customers and hotel guests.

Customer Assistance:

Provide a high standard of customer service, assisting with guest requests both at the pub and in the hotel, such as offering additional towels, helping with baggage storage, or addressing room-related concerns.

Product Knowledge:

Be knowledgeable about the drinks menu, food options (if applicable), and daily specials to provide informed recommendations to customers.

Hotel Guest Assistance:

Guest Support:

Assist hotel guests with check-in (if required), luggage storage, and any additional room requests. Provide help with any issues guests may have with their rooms or other amenities.

Teamwork & Cross-Training:

Cross-Training:

Be open to cross-training across all roles within the pub and hotel to ensure flexibility and provide support where needed, whether that's assisting with cleaning tasks or helping with hotel guest services.

Collaborative Working:

Work closely with other pub and hotel staff to ensure smooth operations during busy and quieter times. A team-first mentality is essential in ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard.

Technology & Compliance:

Technology Use:

Be familiar with the technology used for orders, compliance checks, and any internal communication systems (e.g. till systems, ordering systems, guest management).

Excellent multitasking and organizational skills--ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
