M.C. Larkins, Forkhill are looking for full time bar staff to join us in one of Ireland's oldest and well-loved pubs. Larkins is a much loved part of the local community village of Forkhill and we would love to have someone on board that is confident to communicate with not only our team but our very regular customers and further build on our reputation within the local community. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY:

Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Using a till to take orders and process payments Checking customers identification and age verification Engaging with customers and advising them about current promotions Maintaining a clean and organised bar area, including quickly responding to spills and other health and safety hazards Monitoring and replenishing stock levels as needed Clearing tables, wiping surfaces and operating the dishwasher to ensure ample glassware is available

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to multi-task. Experience in a similar fast paced environment - preferred although not essential as full training is provided. Customer first approach. Team orientated with the ability to solve problems. Ability to work well under pressure with a hands-on approach. Understanding the hours of service, with the ability to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The role requires working in a team and customer led environment, you must be able to confidently work in a team with a hardworking and positive can-do attitude. Excellent communication skills are required as this role will include working closely with hands on owners, staff and customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
