Llay Welfare boasts an impressive grade 2 listed building which is used as a club house in addition to being a venue for many functions, including weddings. The club has a strong focus on sporting activities and has impressive football grounds, bowling greens, a cricket pitch and an all-weather pitch.
We are looking for an experienced, friendly and enthusiastic bar staff member to join our team.
For the right candidate, this role has the potential to progress into a bar supervisors role.
The bar supervisor will be responsible for the running of the shift, staff training and room bookings.
Previous bartending and supervisory experience is essential.
Main purpose of job: ?Serve customers to ensure an exceptional standard of service to all customers and ensure the smooth running of the shift.
Main tasks of job:
1. Deliver drinks and snacks as requested in a timely manner; ensure an exceptional standard of service to customers.
2. Demonstrate a good knowledge of beverages with customers enquires.
3. Re-stock bar when required and help with stock rotation.
4. Have the ability to work well with an established small team of people by leading the team through effective communication, listening and coaching skills.
5. To have the resilience to work in an ever changing environment and have a collaborative approach, working with trustees to deliver a stable and robust plan for the future.
Ability to drive/own transport is essential.
Shifts: Sunday - Thursday until 11pm, Friday - Saturday typically 1am at the latest.
