This role is all about creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while managing and motivating a young, energetic team.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise bar operations during evening shifts (Thursday-Saturday, 4pm-12:30am)
Provide exceptional front-of-house service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued
Manage cellar operations, stock control, and ordering to maintain efficient service levels
Cash up and complete end-of-night reporting accurately and on time
Train, support, and motivate team members to uphold venue standards
Work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth operations and high-quality customer experience
Maintain compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and hygiene regulations
Optional: Monday delivery shifts for additional hours
Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in a
bar supervisory role
within hospitality
Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, especially younger staff
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in stock and cash management
Essential:
cellar management experience
Friendly, approachable, and confident in customer-facing situations
Experience in live entertainment or busy hospitality venues is desirable but not essential
