Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions regarding menu items. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining basic maths skills for order processing. Participate in food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet our quality standards. Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment and provide help when necessary.

Experience

Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, particularly in a cafe or restaurant setting. Familiarity with food safety practices is essential to maintain hygiene standards. Strong time management skills are crucial for managing multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic maths skills are required for handling transactions and managing orders accurately. A genuine interest in coffee culture and beverage preparation will be highly regarded.
