Kochi Cafe is a fresh, exciting brand starting our journey in Tunbridge Wells. We specialise in fluffy souffle pancakes, speciality matcha drinks, and exceptional coffee.

The Role

Hours:

13.5-16.5 hours per week (no early morning shift)

Days:

2-3 days per week

Weekend availability:

Saturday Needed

Location:

Lower Ground Floor, Royal Victoria Place, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 2SR

Pay:

11.50 -12.90 per hour, subject to experience

What You'll Be Doing

Create beautiful latte art and consistently steam milk to a high standard Provide warm, attentive customer service and build great guest experiences Take and process orders accurately (e.g. allergens, dietary preferences) Clean and maintain coffee machines and equipment; report any issues promptly Keep the cafe clean, safe, and well-organised at all times Support with souffle pancake preparation when required

What We're Looking For

Experienced barista (minimum 1 year) with strong latte art and milk steaming skills Knowledgeable in cleaning and maintaining espresso machines and grinders Excellent customer service and a genuine passion for helping others Quick learner with strong organisational skills and attention to detail A positive team player who can also work independently Passionate about speciality coffee and eager to grow
