We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Supervisor Barista to join our wonderful team at Luna Cafe! As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while serving high-quality beverages and freshly-prepared food items. Your enthusiasm for coffee and excellent customer service skills will ensure that each guest has an enjoyable experience, and leaves us uplifted, and eager to return.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, freshly pressed juices, smoothies, and specialty drinks Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety standards Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring all items meet our high quality standards Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Make all customers feel welcome and valued. Handle cash transactions and manage the till efficiently Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery, yet never sacrificing our quality Lead the shift and collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and calm work environment

Experience

Previous barista experience is essential, along with an aptitude for latte art. Familiarity with food safety practices is essential Supervisory experience in a sizeable team is preferred Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
