Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items while ensuring exceptional customer service. Your role will involve creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes. Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items are fresh and presented attractively. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment and utensils, in line with food safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders efficiently. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic maths for order totals. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Basic knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage. A willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and menu items is essential.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: 12.25-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 30 per week
